Javier Molinares is a former active duty paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division, B-Company 3/325 AIR (Airborne Infantry Regime). He is also a life member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association where he has served as secretary and is the current chairman. In 2013, along with David Isnardi and Carl White, founded the Space Coast Paratroopers Association to help paratroopers and veterans in need with the support of local donations.
With a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Global Strategic Communication, Javier was invited last year to be part of the Board of Directors of Florida Tech Alumni Association. He is also the president of the Brevard Hispanic Center, a 501 c 3 organization that assists individuals and families in areas of education, health, family issues, immigration, employment and economic empowerment. Additionally, for 3 years, Javier has worked hard to develop an action plan against bullying in our community throughout Be Kind Brevard.  
Javier Molinares is also the publisher of the bilingual newspaper AL DIA TODAY, a publication that started 10 years ago after he worked as an intern reporter at FLORIDA TODAY. Furthermore, Javier promotes multicultural integration in our community while performing Colombian music of his native Barranquilla and supporting folkloric groups.
